1996 Regional Finalist Baseball Team
The 1996 Bryson Cowboy baseball team had an amazing season earning the District Championship. The Cowboys defeated Clyde, Marfa, and Shamrock in the first three rounds of the playoffs. The Cowboys found themselves in the regional finals, one game away from the State Tournament. Gorman defeated the Cowboys 3-2 in a heartbreaker. All-District players included: Todd Tuel, Justin Dennis, James Pierce, Brett Thornburg, Brad Clayton, and Todd Tinney. Shane Lewis, was selected as second-team All-District Pitcher, with honorable mention honors going to Jason Conklin and J.W. Harle.
